Floating Tacos - A Family Favorite Recipe

Floating Tacos

White Sauce (Make sauce first so it can chill while you prepare the meat.)
4 oz cream cheese
1 C. Mayo
1 C. buttermilk
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. parsley
1-2 cloved minced garlic

Blend these ingredients together to make sauce, chill in fridge.
This recipe makes a lot, works as a great salad dressing too.
*White Sauce shortcut: 1 packet of dry ranch salad dressing,
   and mix in desired amount of sour cream. (Easy and Fast)

Meat Mixture
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 onion
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
3 8 oz cans of water
2 cloves minced garlic
2 T. sugar
1 t. oregano
1 t. chili powder
1 t. salt
1 t. cumin
1 cup cooked rice

Brown meat and onion. Add remaining ingredients (except for rice),
and simmer for 40 min. Then add cooked rice, and warm through.
Serve on bed of taco chips with white sauce and toppings.
