Look who's a Scout!

Not sure how I feel about this new adventure.
I don't know anything about it.
I didn't grow up with brothers and I've never served in scouts for a church calling.

Now, I have to get busy removing all the patches from this shirt someone gave us,
so I can sew them back on again later.

Handsome little dude! Just put blue duct tape over his patches he hasn't earned yet. And when he earns them pull the tape off. So much better than sewing.

That is so funny, I was going to comment about how amazed I was that he already had all of those patches! I am impressed that he is wearing the neckerchief (sp?). I have two boys in scouts going on 3 years, and I don't think they have made it to an event yet with wearing the uniform correctly. I am a bad scout Mom. Sigh.

I have to admit I wasn't overjoyed to see all the stuff I had to do like sewing patches and selling popcorn and helping pass off badges. BUT my boy LOVES scouting so much that I've come to see what an inspired program it is. I feel confident saying that my brothers' scout leaders are the ones who kept them on the straight and narrow, helped get them on missions, and set an example of how to serve. Good luck. The adventure begins!
