Monday Night -

#3 BSU vs. #10 VA Tech at the FedEx Field in Maryland

We did!

Final Score!

Great, great game.

Both teams were good, it was close.

It was hard to watch the last few minutes of the game.

BSU always knows how to keep it exciting.

They always pull through.

Our seats were up so high at the stadium.

But we could still see the game just fine.

We were on our feet almost the entire game.

We were surrounded almost entirely by VA Tech (Hokie) Fans.

They were most of the 86,000 people there.

They were loud and made the entire stadium shake.

About 12,000 BSU fans were there.

While we were in the D.C. area we stayed with Chris' brother's family.

It was fun to visit with their kids.

His wife is a great hostess.

Thanks for the great food, and comfortable bed!

We took in some of the sites:

Arlington National Cemetery & the Changing of the Guard.

The D.C. mall area

Smithsonian museums:

Natural History and American History

We went to Georgetown.

The Washington D.C. temple

We also went to Mt. Vernon.

George Washington's home and estate.

It was a long, great weekend.

Everywhere we went all over the DC area there were orange & blue, Boise fans.

It was great to see.

It was so fun to see everybody clear across the country.

We ran into people we knew. It was so fun to be a part of the experience.

If you can tell from the pictures, we did this long weekend without THE KIDS!

It was a nice time away.

Chris' mom watched the kids for us.

We are so grateful to all of her help,

and according to the kids and grandma everyone did great.

A lot of family helped us out for this trip.

Grandma, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, etc.

A great college football season awaits.

The team is trying to go undefeated, be #1, and a chance to play for the Championship.

They use to be a David team, now they are a Goliath team.
