Where is the missing rubber part on the door stop?
She looks guilty, . . . .doesn't she?
Did she really swallow it? Why isn't she choking?
Will she have life threatening blockage?
Will it come out naturally?
After some panic and a call to the minor emergency,
I found the missing part later in the day on my counter.
She never ate it.
But, she had one time before and I caught her.She must think they look like mini marshmallows!Turns out, I was worried she would do it again and I wouldn't be there to catch her.I took some off around the house as a precaution a few days prior to this incident.I just couldn't remember which ones I had removed. My friends tell me: SUPER GLUE
Then we couldn't find Sadie. We called her, and she was no where to be seen.
No where.
Where could she have gone? Finally, I checked upstairs the least likely place she could be.
Oh, . . .She was upstairs! In Kyle's room playing with his toys.
Upstairs in our house is 2 flights of stairs. Chris says to a baby it is comparable to climbing Mt. Everest. It turns out she learned how to climb stairs, without telling me. Before this she was always content playing on the bottom stair, never showing any signs of getting to that second step.
Here is Sadie showing off her new found achievment! At the tippy top of Mt. Everest in our home.
She is very proud of herself. I'm proud of her too, I think.
Now we just have to teach her how to slide down.
This picture also shows her going face first about to plummet to a bad fall.
Don't worry, I didn't let that happen.
I've had enough scares with her this week, I didn't need another.

Such cute pictures of Sadie! I can't believe she climbed all of those stairs. That is a serious workout.
Penny's, nickels, toys, stoppers, you name it--my kids have chewed and even swallowed them. No emergencies, however (except for the bead in the nose). I learned when I was a nanny that most things simply find their way out! Nice thought, eh? Sadie is so very cute! She makes me baby hungry....but I know better!
haha, she looks SO proud!
