Farming

Something great about Chris; He farms!
That's the great thing of marrying an "Idaho Boy".
The kids to my surprise have loved having a garden.
They like the planting, the watering, watching it grow, and eating their work.
When they are in the 1-3 yr. old stage loosing seeds, misplanting, and stomping on the garden happens more often than a "perfect" garden. That's okay.
Here are some pictures of the boys, Chris passing on the farming tradition:

This year we are planting corn, lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, squash, and carrots.
We will see how it goes, every year goes a little different with what we can actually eat at the end of the summer.

Tate is more into the dirt and bugs. This is his pet bug Wally.

Oh my! I can't believe how wonderful your soil looks! I don't think I ever realized just how bad Bay Area dirt is until I saw your pictures! It's a wonder we can grow anything here! Good luck with your garden!
