A republican won the senate seat.
I am not taking sides either way,
because I didn't follow the race closely or know anything about either candidate.
But, the story is interesting, and will have some direct impact for each of us
in the future of American politics and government.

I am amazed at the rescues that continue in Haiti.
People still alive, being rescued.
Their stories are amazing.

I admire all the teams of people from around the world who came to Haiti,
and are saving people from the rubble.
It is difficult to comprehend their stories.
