Word of advice for said mending pile....donate to the nearest thrift store....you will no longer have to look at it AND you will soon forget about the items found therein! I felt guilt about 'that' pile at my own house for years. YEARS! It felt wonderful to say goodbye. Haven't missed it ONE BIT!
